Meet Charlie, a long-haired Dachshund mix. Owner Carol and daughter Elizabeth were picking him up from grandmother’s house this afternoon in Seattle. I was smitten with Charlie’s perky ears and calm disposition. I asked if I could take a photo of Charlie and feature him and his story on the blog. Carol adopted the now six-year-old Charlie from a shelter when he was about two years old. Charlie was so well mannered that Carol thinks his owner may have passed away, resulting in Charlie needing a new home. Thanks Carol and Elizabeth for stopping to share Charlie and his story. Meeting Charlie really made my day!
